We are looking for a commercially-minded Customer Success Manager (CSM) to take ownership of renewals and upsells across key enterprise accounts in the Asia Pacific region. This role is ideal for someone who understands the cybersecurity buyer landscape, has a proven track record in customer lifecycle management, and can drive revenue without needing to be hands-on in deep technical support.
About the Role
This CSM role is not your typical support function. You’ll be responsible for managing high-value customer relationships, ensuring account health, and leading renewal and expansion strategies across a growing book of business.
While our technical partners and internal support teams handle implementation and product-related issues, your focus will be on building trusted relationships with decision-makers, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring retention through value realization and commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the commercial relationship across a portfolio of enterprise customers in the region.
- Manage and drive the full renewal cycle, ensuring high retention rates and forecasting accuracy.
- Identify upsell opportunities and partner with sales to convert them into revenue.
- Serve as the customer’s strategic advisor, driving engagement and aligning use cases with business value.
- Conduct regular account reviews and health checks with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with channel partners, implementation teams, and support resources to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Track usage trends, satisfaction metrics, and identify at-risk accounts early.
- Champion customer feedback internally and influence product and service improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a Customer Success, TAM (Technical Account Manager), or Account Management role at a cybersecurity software or SaaS company.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning renewals and upsells across enterprise clients.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with modern cybersecurity platforms (SIEM, XDR, SOAR, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Able to interpret technical conversations without needing to go deep into implementation—comfortable deferring to specialist teams and partners.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, partner-led environments.
- Based in Singapore or Malaysia and comfortable with regional travel, when required.
