Ethea Solutions is exclusively partnering with an exceptional, fast-growing pre-IPO technology company to find a Senior Technical Account Director for their Korean operations.

The Role

We are looking for a professional who combines deep technical expertise with a talent for building customer relationships. In this dynamic commercial role, you will act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of existing customers, helping them solve complex engineering challenges and growing their usage of the platform.

You will bridge the gap between engineering and business, ensuring customers achieve transformative business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Adoption & Success: Create data-driven success plans, monitor engagement metrics, and partner with sales teams on expansion strategies for key accounts.
  • Enable Expert Users: Deliver tailored demos, structured onboarding, and workflow deep-dives for designers and simulation engineers, reinforcing learning through hands-on workshops.
  • Project Leadership: Lead discovery, craft technical proposals, and own project delivery from kick-off to completion, including milestone tracking and risk management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor bridging Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align roadmaps with customer objectives.
  • Customer Advocacy: Capture feature requests and feedback to maintain a tight loop with R&D, advocating for enhancements that reflect industry trends.

Who You Are

  • Education: You hold an Engineering degree and possess industry experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience: You bring at least 10 years of proven experience in a technology-driven environment, with a background in Project and/or Account Management.
  • Technical Knowledge: You are familiar with CAD/CAE software and understand Machine Learning methods, with a genuine interest in AI’s impact on engineering.
  • Soft Skills: You have business confidence, an entrepreneurial spirit, and high energy.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Korean is a strict requirement.
